Our History

Formerly known as Independent Living for Adults with Special Needs, the organization opened its residential program Claremont Street in Worcester in early 1972. By 1984, the organization began to offer placement services through its Shared Living Program. Today, under the direction of the current C.E.O., Alain Beret, My Choice Programs has experienced tremendous growth by developing a network of high quality services designed to enable individuals with varying abilities to live fully within their community.  My Choice Programs is proud to offer 24-hour residential support, community based support services, placement services in Shared Living and Adult Family Care (AFC), transitional living care, employment services, and My Choice Greens, a business based career development enterprise.
